My O2 XDA Atom

Some Pocket PC like O2 XDA mini, dopod 818, i-mate JAM or HTC Magician user doesn't support MP3 ringtones by default. That is the problem if you really want to set MP3 as a ringtone for your device. Fortunately there is someone out there that understands your pain and has brought this fix to life. So after you install that cab file to your O2 mini, open file explorer, go to your mp3 file path,select the mp3 file and then try tapping and holding to see if a menu comes up and selecting "Set as Ringtone."

You can also try Ringo for the Pocket PC. Download it here. That can even be done if u store the file in my documents folder

If you using O2 XDA Atom., you can make your MP3 file shown on ring setting by copy all your MP3 File to the outer path of your storage card. It will save much rom instead you put it on your device rom.

Or you can try to make your favorite ringtones using conversion software. It is easy , I have using mp3 to ringtone gold to make my ringtones for a long time.
