Use O2 Atom as Storage Card (WM5torage)

Good news that you can use your O2 XDA Atom. with WM5 as a storage card when it connected to PC or Laptop using data cable. The benefit is that we no need to take out our memory card from our device. Our memory card will be shown directly on our PC and known as a storage card.

Known that this problem is not relevant anymore for you who already upgraded your Pocket PC OS ROM to WM6 Professional, because the WM5torage application is already included.

Okay, this tips just for you WM5 user. First you need third party application named WM5torage. To make your memory card readable and known as storage card when your PDA connected to PC via cable data, so follow these steps:

  • Download via 4sahred ato ziddu
  • Open the application, check to the option "Removable Class"
  • On the option box select DSK1 : /SD Memory Card
  • And click tab Activate
  • Push deactivate to non activated this feature.

Now you can transfer file/ data without move out your memory card from your O2 Atom or PDA. Enjoy
